Throughout history, people have always felt the need to put their experiences into words. Bram Stoker was no exception: a civil servant, theater manager, and progressive thinker—but above all, a pioneer of horror literature who created an immortal legend with “Dracula” in 1897. In honor of the Irish author, Montblanc presents the Writers Edition Homage to Bram Stoker Limited Edition.
This writing instrument draws on the theme of the literary struggle between Victorian superstition and medical progress. The cap and barrel, crafted from red-and-black premium resin, capture the ominous atmosphere of the classic novel; Stoker’s signature is also immortalized on the cap. The ruthenium-coated clip, with two distinctive dots on the ring, evokes the vampire’s bite marks, while the overall shape of the fountain pen is inspired by the historic Pravaz syringe. The Victorian-style ornate fittings complete the design. As a tribute to this masterpiece of the century, the handcrafted pen made of solid 750 gold is adorned with an embossed detail from the Stoker family coat of arms.
