Montblanc – Writers Edition – Homage to Bram Stoker Limited Edition Füllfederhalter

Throughout history, people have always felt the need to put their experiences into words. Bram Stoker was no exception: a civil servant, theater manager, and progressive thinker—but above all, a pioneer of horror literature who created an immortal legend with “Dracula” in 1897. In honor of the Irish author, Montblanc presents the Writers Edition Homage to Bram Stoker Limited Edition.

This writing instrument draws on the theme of the literary struggle between Victorian superstition and medical progress. The cap and barrel, crafted from red-and-black premium resin, capture the ominous atmosphere of the classic novel; Stoker’s signature is also immortalized on the cap. The ruthenium-coated clip, with two distinctive dots on the ring, evokes the vampire’s bite marks, while the overall shape of the fountain pen is inspired by the historic Pravaz syringe. The Victorian-style ornate fittings complete the design. As a tribute to this masterpiece of the century, the handcrafted pen made of solid 750 gold is adorned with an embossed detail from the Stoker family coat of arms.

Montblanc – Jimi Hendrix

Montblanc pays tribute to Jimi Hendrix, one of the most famous musicians of the 20th century and one of the most influential guitarists in the history of pop music. The eggshell white of the precious resin cap and the engraved pattern are inspired by one of the guitar straps worn by Jimi Hendrix. The black body, on the other hand, is adorned with an elegant pattern and is reminiscent of a wah-wah pedal. The platinum-plated clip is angled and shaped like the tremolo of an electric guitar. Another outstanding detail is the platinum-plated cap ring, inspired by a 1960s guitar cable and adorned with the engraved date of a famous Jimi Hendrix concert. The handmade nib in rhodium-plated 585 solid gold features a portrait of Jimi Hendrix.

“Once upon a time, a long, long time ago …” The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm is dedicated to the Brothers Grimm and pays tribute to their writings of German and European fairy tales, the most famous of which include “Snow White”, “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty”.

The writing instrument is shaped like a walking stick and the black colour is reminiscent of the darkness of the forests, which are among the most important settings of Grimm’s fairy tales. In addition, the wavy pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel’s hair and at the same time represents a nod to the roots, as the Grimm brothers considered their work a “return to the roots”. The cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem made of precious resin.

The platinum-plated clip, reminiscent of a gnarled piece of wood, quite surprisingly shows the profile of the Brothers Grimm when you turn it. As a tribute to the magic of storytelling, the handcrafted 750 solid rhodium-plated gold nib features a depiction of fire, around which people often gathered in the past to tell and pass on their fairy tales.
