When we need to quickly capture a few thoughts, we intuitively find it easiest to do so by hand using a pen – handwritten notes, annotations and sketches are the best way to capture our ideas, process what we’ve experienced and so understand the world. The LAMY safari all black ncode now adds to this the fantastic potential of digital processing, combining both worlds in a single writing instrument: the advantages of analogue writing on paper with all the possibilities of digital storage and processing.

With the LAMY safari all black ncode, the matching LAMY digital paper notebook and the numerous functions of the Neo Studio App, it’s easy to write on paper, to simultaneously digitise your handwritten material and then to edit it as you choose. The LAMY digital paper comes with Neo LAB’s proprietary ncode technology. Every stroke made on the page is saved – creating a complete digital copy of the notebook with all the options you could need for working on that text in future.

Never lose or forget anything again

Neo Studio uses cloud synchronisation: written content is automatically synchronised across all devices on which the app is installed. So at any time and on different devices you can browse entries made in the last few days and weeks, or even years.

Easy to find everything – easy to change anything

Neo Studio digitises handwritten notes, making it easy to search your material – including across different LAMY digital paper notebooks using individual coding, of course. Take notes at speed – change, improve and revise at your leisure later: alter font colours, add highlights or create new layouts. There are no limits to creative design and professional results. Thanks to Myscript, a handwriting recognition program, Neo Studio offers the option to convert handwriting into printed text in 32 languages. Each page, or just excerpts, can be saved and shared directly via weblink in a variety of formats: jpg, PDF, MP4 or gif.

Graf von Faber Castell – Guilloche Electric Pink

Graf von Faber Castell - Füllfederhalter Guilloche Electric Pink

Guilloches – ornamental patterns of fine, engraved lines – originally adorned precious watches and accessories such as the legendary Fabergé eggs. Graf von Faber-Castell uses this traditional jewelling technique to transform the writing instruments in the Guilloche series into true pieces of jewellery: The precious resin barrel is given a filigree pattern line by line, then further refined in manual lacquering and polishing processes. The Guilloche models are available in many expressive colour variations and in a rhodium-plated finish.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition 1902 Füllfederhalter

Montblanc - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - 1902 - Füllhalter

The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the world’s most renowned crime writers, who created the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. The brown colour of the lacquer refers to the pipe that Sherlock Holmes often smoked – an element that is also taken up by the cap and the wooden cone. In addition to a detail from a historical map of London, a check pattern adorns the cap and body of this edition, referencing Sherlock Holmes’ coat. The clip is inspired by the magnifying glass that Sherlock Holmes used. The silhouette of a dog made of luminescent pigments appears behind the clip, referencing the novel “The Hound of the Baskervilles” from the Sherlock Holmes series. The cap ring features the signature of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the logo from “A Study in Scarlet”, the first case of Sherlock Holmes. The Montblanc emblem in precious mother-of-pearl crowns the cap of this edition. The handcrafted nib made of solid 750 gold is adorned with engravings of a portrait of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and a magnifying glass referring to Sherlock Holmes.
